Not every session comes with perfect weather, but sometimes those are the ones that end up meaning the most. Michelle and Trevor’s engagement session at Pioneers Park took place on a cold, windy morning, and they handled it better than most.
From the start, they leaned into the conditions instead of fighting them. The wind added movement, the colder air brought them closer together, and everything about the session felt natural and real.
Pioneers Park is one of the best spots for engagement photos in Lincoln, Nebraska, especially for couples who want a mix of open space, nature, and quiet paths. Even with the less-than-ideal weather, the setting still gave us a beautiful backdrop to work with.
What stood out most about Michelle and Trevor was how comfortable they were with each other. Nothing felt forced. They laughed easily, stayed present, and trusted the process. That’s what always makes the biggest difference in photos like these.
